LaGail Adams grew up, married and raised her three children in Atlanta; and in 1998 graduated from New Life Institute of Massage Excellence (now known as Rising Spirit at Gwinnett College of Sandy Springs). She is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Georgia and is Nationally Certified in Neuromuscular Therapy.
Her modalities include deep Swedish, sports massage, reflexology, and prenatal massage. She is also adept in trigger point and myofacial release. “I believe massage is an interactive and intuitive practice,” LaGail affirms, and her clients often comment on her comforting yet effectively firm touch. “I want to create, above all, a relaxing, customized massage that addresses each person’s specific condition. A thorough knowledge of structural anatomy helps me to do that,” LaGail points out. “I then follow up each session with self-care suggestions based on holistic principles. These
extend and enhance the restorative nature of each massage.”
As a unique individual, LaGail brings an open heart to her work, allowing her to feel empathy for her client’s aches and pains. As a child and adult, she suffered from migraine headaches. From that experience of pain, she has learned how to offer relief through trigger point work in particular and massage in general.
LaGail is a recent breast cancer survivor and has a new goal of learning more about oncology massage and manual lymphatic drain massage. In addition to massage, LaGail enjoys walks in nature, yoga meditation, qi gong, gardening, dancing and singing. Her passion is nurturing herself, her family and friends with traditional plant herbal remedies, whole food nutrition, balanced living and wellness practices.
She has worked closely with chiropractors and in a variety of corporate and health club settings.
We are so happy to welcome LaGail to come work with us!
